I had my lapband removed in 2015, and now considering VSG and willing to selfpay, as I am not interested in waiting any longer. Anyone had VSG done recently with Dr Gagner, most of the posts are from 2013 or 2014

You might have some luck if you post this on the Quebec or even Ontario forum, which is far more active than the Quebec forum.
Dr Gagner has a good reputation among the DSers.
