Irrelevant. Coconuts aren't nuts, they're fruit. Everyone knows that fruits are healthy. Therefore, coconuts can't kill anyone.

Well, the one that landed about 18 inches from my feet in Key West would probably have done that.  It was bigger than my head!

All great info. I'm often criticized for making my broad generalizations. "People have DIED from sleep apnea" is the broad generalization that was made, so I responded. Jeez... people and their generalizations, right? I know you didnt make that statement. I honestly dont care that someone made that statement (two people, I think).

I guess we should just be telling the OP "good luck, you have apnea? you probably wont make it to surgery date"

Wow. That is a bit of a stretch.

How about "science proves that people feel WAY better when they start using a CPAP" (source) instead? :)

We didn't imply that the OP wouldn't make it to her surgery date at all. Rather, you pooh-poohed that sleep apnea is a real problem and tried to make it sound as if there's a cabal of doctors out diagnosing everyone within sight to make scads of money. You failed to notice that those of us who did have apnea focused on the positives and didn't make a bunch of noises about worse-case scenarios.

Of course you care that someone (me included) made that statement or you wouldn't have taken this passive-aggressive little swipe. You've posted dodgy information before and gotten in a twist when corrected.

If I EVER respond to you again, I will make sure I cite my sources.

I've had Chris blocked in the past because of his dodgy information. I've now got him un-blocked in the interest of providing correct information in the future when helpful :)
