You are proof that the article is right, not that it is wrong.  Starvation mode means that if you don't eat enough then your body will STOP losing weight to keep you alive, but you're proof that if you keep your calories low that you continue to lose weight.

I think you have just misunderstood the whole post.  People get into a stall and then up their calories thinking it will kickstart their weight loss because they've gone into "starvation mode".
