Am I being too hard on myself?

So I has my surgrey June 20th. My start weight was 340. I lost 22 pounds on opt (3 weeks) and I'm currently down  to 281 (down 59 pounds). I feel like it's not enough. Like I should have lost more! Am I being unreasonable with my weight loss? Is this a normal amount to lose in 10 weeks? I just feel like because I was so heavy it should have come off faster.

Anyone close to my starting weight? What were u at at 10 weeks?

I was about there at the 10 week mark. Go HERE to the OH post op planner. Input your numbers to see what your loss might be. It was very accurate for my loss.

My highest weight was about the same as yours. I lost 30 pre-op and it took 14 months post-op to lose 170 more.

from the day of surgery (316) to the 10-week mark (284), I'd lost 32 lbs.  If I'm understanding you correctly, you've lost 37 in the same time frame.  So we were about in the same place.  I always thought I was one of the slower losers, but I've lost over 200 lbs altogether, so it does add up if you stick to it!

At 10 weeks I had lost 61lbs total pre op and post op... And I started at 383. I lost like 24 preop so not that different than you post op. I've lost over 200lbs... You will get there.

You're being too hard on yourself. At 10 week I had lost 57 pounds. I started at 377 pounds so obviously I had more to lose than you do. If you do what you're supposed to then you should be fine. Be strict with what you're eating, follow the plan, weigh and measure every single thing that goes in your mouth.

I've been successful by doing that and coming here all the time. If I see that my weight isn't following what it should I've posted and realized I was eating too many carbs and adjusted accordingly.

Good luck!

Hell I really didn't start losing weight till after my first year and I lost a total of 190lbs.  My starting weight was 360lbs.  I really struggled in the beginning.
