Newbie -- Alchol after WLS?
Absolutely! I had mine done in Mexico by Dr. Q. I was able to return to work in 1 week. Recovery went very well for me. I still like the same foods I liked before. They only craving I had after VSG was for fish. My body must have needed whatever nutrients are supplied by fish. So I ate it 3 times in 1 week and ate fish every week for about 3 weeks. ( I am usually not a big fish eater) I do not crave anything now. I realize that sometimes I want to eat something when I'm really not hungry, but usually go for something healthy. My stomach is so small that I really cant eat much. It took a while for me to realize when to stop. That "too full-feels like food is in your throat" is no fun. I use to think there is only 2 bites left & eat it, now I leave it to not get the too full feeling.
