Where is our old friend Gary V?

 I believe Gary V. Is one of the many folks who is not able to take criticism, no matter how it was intended

Particularly when the subject was very important.

As others have mentioned, his posts became increasingly erratic and infrequent before he deactivated. He posted a long and rather offensive "people here are mean" poem, which was quickly deleted by the mods. Some of his navel-gazing posts included comments about his problems with alcohol. The most concerning post mentioned his teenage son saying something to the effect of "I want to know what it feels like to shoot somebody" and mentioned that there are guns in the house.

The man needs serious help and seemed to either ignore or take offense to such suggestions.

I have only been on here for about three months, but he seemed very disturbed and sad! I'm sure that there are members who do not pray, and this is not meant to offend anyone, but I believe he needs prayers, and I will be praying for him!

Non-believer here, I don't see that as offensive at all. You want to help, and I think that's wonderful :)

 I hope Gary V is still hanging out even though deactivated as a formal member.  He will always be my friend.

Please don't speak badly, or participate in assumptions or idle gossip about Gary.  As an OH member Gary was always complimentry and full of encouragement to everyone.  He didn't/doesn't have a mean word to say to, or about, anyone.  Gary was the very first friend I had on OH.  I hope he is successful with everything he does and encounters in life.  I hope to see him again on OH.  I will always consider Gary my friend.
