How much did you need to lose?  Honestly, unless you are completely starving yourself, it will take quite a bit to lose too much.  You rarely if ever see anyone that loses too much.  I lost around 100lbs in 6 months, and now I'm a year out and have lost a total of 125lbs.  I still want to lose another 20lbs.  My loss slowed down about 6 to 8 months after surgery.

I'm 8 weeks out this week and just hit the 50 lb mark (including the weight I lost before surgery).  Not a problem!

Lose as much as you can as fast as you can. Don't be concerned about losing forever. In another few months you're going to wonder why you can't keep losing 4 pounds a week.
