Little update and some photos

So was down in spirits last week. Not depressed or anything, just kind of in a funk. Definitely appreciated everyones responses/messages.

Last Friday my wife and I drove up to Atlanta to stay with one of my best friends from childhood and go see a concert. Thanks to Ticketmaster/livenation lawsuit I had gotten some free lawn tickets for one of our favorite bands, so got two sets.

Anyway, my friend and his dad have a company where they train pro athletes (and college) and got in a great workout with him, and also spent some time picking his brain on how I should be working out for my goals (lose weight, gain some muscle, and grow my freakin butt so it doenst hurt to sit).

Spent great time with them, as well. We ate out a lot, but made all good choices. Well, I did have some sweet potato pancake yesterday before the drive home in Atlanta for my breakfast, but didnt let myself eat more than a few tiny bites.

This morning I weighed myself and was down 1.2# since Friday. Was pretty excited about that!

The concert was one of the best ever. This band, every time my wife and I go see them we end up stuck standing in the rain waiting to get in or something.. its always miserable. This time, of course, it was DUMPING rain. We had a tarp to sit on/under and rain ponchos but our backs all started to hurt.. our wives donned their ponchos, we strong manly men toughed it out and stood exposed. Luckily by that point wasnt raining too bad.

Good to hear! Looks like yall had a good time! I LOVE going to concerts but haven't been to one in quite a while. My husband has never been to one so I need to do something about that. 

Thats for sure! We go to a bunch every year, or we at least try to. Heck, we're even signed up for The Rock Boat this coming February. 5 day cruise full of bands, concerts goin on all day all over the ship. Super excited!

Now that sounds like a lot of fun!

I lived in Atlanta for 15 years... my kids were born there!

It was! Had a blast. This time I was at least prepared for it and was all outside. Getting soaked then going inside a venue is terrible lol

i grew up in Buford/sugar hill :) 

I was up in Snellville... near Lawrenceville. I drove everyday to my job down near Buckhead... OMG, what a drive! I DONT miss that about Atlanta~

Ya, that drive is awful. I worked in Midtown in the Biltmore Building off West Peachtree St... After a few months of driving down from Buford by the mall of GA, I got a lot off 10th and Howell Mill... best decision I've ever made lol. that and leaving that job!

My mom owned  some fishing lakes out in Snellville. I forget what they were called now.. was years ago
