Back pain

has anyone experienced back pain since rny? I have never had back pain until after my surgery. It started about 4 weeks after surgery. My back hurts right below my bra strap.  It hurts after standing or walking a while. It is painful. Should I go to the doctor. Just think it is strange since I never had it before.

It is always worthwhile to discuss pain with your doctor.  I get back pain and spray with Biofreeze 360.  It relieves the pain and there are no pills to swallow and process through your system.  Mine is arthritis, yours might be a pulled muscle. 

Have you been sleeping oddly post-op?  I know that I slept very strangely after surgery.  First few days in a recliner, then I couldn't sleep on my stomach or roll around like I used to.  For me, this caused a lot of back pain.  So it could be something as simple as that, but it could also be something more serious.  

When in doubt, talk to your doctor.
