I called my dr back again today. They are having me come in for another weight check. My case manager told me to dress heavy! :) It's 90+ outside, so we shall see how that goes, lol

I suggest you carry some extra money that day....preferably coins...rolled ones.  One never knows when you need it to pay those darn parking meters.

I can gain (well, before i lost my stomach lol) 6 pounds in a few days if I let myself go wild with food.

My insurance gave me hassles too because I was at 35.2 without any other "issues".  I was told not to gain weight because my insurance and many others require documentation of 2 years at that weight.  I did a 6 month supervised diet where I stayed the same.  Then I did a sleep apnea test which I didn't have.  Lastly, I did a barium swallow test which showed a suspected hiatal hernia (which I guess the majority of obese people have).  I had an endoscopy which confirmed it.

All that done and United Healthcare denied my surgery.  My Dr put in for approval to fix the hiatal hernia which was approved.  He just did the sleeve for me at the same time.

PS my ticker isn't working.  I've been at 165 for 2 years which is above my goal but my body fat is where I want it if I trust my trainer which I do.

Also, the 10 months that passed between my initial consultion and surgery was great because it allowed me to modify some behaviors, educate myself and explain it to my extended family.
