New here, surgery 4 days ago.
Hi, I'm new here, looking for some online support. I live in a rural area so it's hard to attend support groups without driving an hour plus. I had my surgery 4 days ago. I think I'm doing ok so far but know the journey is easier with some support.
I am new here, too, surgery not scheduled until 9/9/16. I also live too far away to attend support groups, and found this forum which has helped already. Excited and scared! There are some great posts here regarding what to eat, what to expect, and moral support for bumps in the road.
good luck!
Thanks, I'm an RN so was pretty well prepared but it's different being on the other side! I was surprised that I really had very little pain after the first night. Good luck to you too!
This is my support group also.
Best of luck to all of you who are super new and those who have upcoming surgery dates.
I'm still new having had my surgery 6/6/16

I am 3 months out tomorrow. My doc's support group is also an hour away, and I just don't have the time to make it down there regularly. These folks here are so full of knowledge! I love coming on here every day!
Welcome to all of you!
