Update on WLS stuff

Went to the Mariners game with "the boy" last eve. 6-5 Mariners in 15 innings. What a game! This is us before we left, and these are my trying on his Lettermen jacket that I just had his golf and academic patches put on and this was the day we went and picked it up from the seamstress. He weighs 129 and I'm at 180/178.
I began this journey last aug. at 402 pounds. The miracle of RNY has helped me change how I use all of my time. I take long walks through quiet forest every morning. I check the beaver lodge, (they have babies now). I go everywhere with my kids now. I used to post a bunch during my weightloss phase, I now mostly read the honeymooners stuff. It's great to see all of the small victories become changed lives.

We left the game after the 8th inning in order to make the 10:30 departure back home on the ferry. Otherwise we'd have to catch the 12:50 and not have gotten home until about 2:00am. So, we listened to the game on the 1 mile walk to the ferry, the one hour ferry trip, and in the car about midnight. We both go crazy when we finally won the game.
Then, we got home and everyone was sleeping, our dog barked that away and then we talked about the game to my wife. It was her date night with our daughter, dinner and a movie for them. They share their night with us, we with them.
As it was getting to be bedtime, my son says, "Dad, can I lay with you guys for awhile?" He has not done that since he was 8, now at 14, he's beyond that...okay, not yet. Not yet.
Hi Gary! You're looking good! And your son is a cutie!
Glad ya'll had this time together, and so happy you are doing well.

Hey Pammieanne. I am glad to see you are doing so good. Thank you. I can't wait to take the family to my old stomping ground in Lubbock. I went to Tech for a year, (Go Red Raiders!) I miss the heat there for sure. I am currently freezing daily. In August no less!
Great going so far for you I see as well. The lifestyle is the key for me. I stick to the plan. It works.
Of course, I am still learning, but I feel so lucky to have had this opportunity!
I'm also lucky that my pouch is a very persnickety one, and doesn't take much AT ALL to fill it up. I still can't eat more than like 1.5 ounces of dense protein (although I can do 4 oz of hormel chili, which tells me the chili will need to go by the wayside soon LOL).
I hope I'm successful, and get the weight off like you have!
