Fatty liver disease

I had my RNY back in 2003 and my annual blood work now shows I have high liver enzymes and after an ultrasound it shows I have non alcoholic fatty liver disease. I have a follow up appt soon but after looking it up I need to change eating habits and more exercise. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else and how you changed?

I don't have any answers but wanted to tell you- they did a biopsy of my liver at the time of surgery and I had NASH liver disease (non alcoholic liver disease). I'm 7 1/2 months out and my labs also came back with higher liver enzymes and I went last week for ultrasound.

awaiting results.

They are just going to wait to see what happens with next years blood work. Since finding out I have totally changed my diet.
