This is what 1 year after WLS looks like!

Today is my 1 year surgiversary.  My journey has been interesting, to say the least.  I had an easy recovery, and fast weight loss early out, but at about 6 months post op it got really, really hard.  The head issues really started to get to me and I've been fighting tooth and nail to stay on track ever since.  Destpite my struggles, I regret nothing about this journey.

I am so thankful that I found OH before surgery.  It has given me the resources I need to deal with the issues as they arrive.  I can't imagine having to deal with head hunger, food addiction or just plain food boredom without all of you people to support me and keep me on my toes.

One year down and a lifetime to go.  I hope to make that journey with you all by my side.  A special shout out to the Hags for smacking me around and then giving me a big hug to keep me on track.  Don't change, ever.

Here are some pics to show the journey:

Congratulations!  Job well done!!!!  It isn't easy to string all the months together, for sure.

I especially loved the 4/2016 pic which shows you wearing the same dress as that lovely girl.  First of all, you look great.  But maybe more importantly, how cool that you had the option to shop for that dress!  Terrific NSV.

Enjoy the journey :)

You are so totally rocking your RNY Deanna!   Way to kick ass and take names.

Well done friend - we are all better off for you sticking it out around here.  Keep on doing what your doing - you are worth the effort it takes to stay the course!
