To all vets/people with time under belt: HOW TO BE REGULAR?!

So I'm having this issue too... I think I've had 3 more kids since this surgery! (Ouch!)

I was going to use the Miralax, because it does do a great job, but the bottle says not to use it for more than 7 days... So ya'll don't have any issues with prolonged use?

I bought the senna laxative, and while it works, I'm probably not at a healthy medium (too loose)...

I just want to poop like a champ again!

Thanks for that! I meant to ask about the 7 days, saw that while reading the bottle last night.

They put those warnings on all laxitives because you can become dependant. I have been taking Miralax everyday for almost 2 years.

I've been doing fiber with my vitamins in the morning.  Didn't totally work.  Over last week started doing 1/2 does of miralax in the morning in my protein shake - can't taste it at all.  It works.  Maybe too well.  Might switch to every other day.

I'm not a vet but I posted this earlier this year and it still holds true for me.  Hope it helps.

My center recommends Miralax daily for the first 6 months, beginning the day we get home after surgery.  I worked perfectly for me.
