GOAL MADE! 202 pounds lost!!

Today is the day!! I started at 377 pounds and my goal was 175 pounds....and today is THAT DAY! And that goal was a complete shot in the dark and one I truly thought was unattainable. I made it randomly and was happy that I could even make it past 100 pounds lost.

I was unbelievably excited when I weighed myself this morning and saw that number. It feels like it took forever but it's been about 17 months. 202 pounds lost!

I feel so much better - my sleep apnea is gone. My main reason for having the surgery was cancer risks and issues I was having and the issues have disappeared. My migraines that I was suffering with daily have lessened greatly - and that was something that I was spending THOUSANDS of dollars on going to a top Neurologist in another state for the last 4 years trying to get under control.

My QOL is so much better.

And now I am going to resent my goal to 150 lol. Not sure if I can make that since the weight loss has slowed but I'm going to try!

I remember when you first started posting on OH - has it really been 17 months ago?  Flew by - what progress.  Congrats to you!!

I thought I was done at 165 - my dream goal - the least I weighed in high school.  But I continued to follow my surgeons guidelines and another 20 (now an additional 12 came off - I now weight less than I weighed in 6th grade).

Stay focused on being healthy and see where you body wants to be.

So very happy for you!  I like that you set one goal and are now revising it to another based on what you see.  Again high five!
