I made it! Today is my surgiversary!
One year ago.... it seems like it went by in a flash! Surgery was the best thing I have ever done for myself. The amount of NSV's so out weigh the bad days in the beginning :)
I'm a little bummed with myself because I missed my personal goal for the year by three pounds. I would have liked 150 but I'm more than good with 147 pounds lost!
If I was going to give one piece of advise to a newbie it would be "Don't compare yourself to others. Every journey is different and uniquely yours".
I also want to thank all of the vets who have paved the way, fallen off the wagon and gotten back on track, and still stick around to share their stories. Your support, advice, and knowledge have been immeasurable and a huge part of my success so far. Thank you!
What's next? Losing more to get to where I feel comfortable then learning how to live in maintenance. When will that happen? I don't know because I've never done this before :)
Happy surgiversary!! Congrats!

Very nice! Give yourself a break on the three pounds, and call it 150!
