Healing OK... But 'spare tire' pain
I am almost 2 weeks post op and things are progressing well. My incisions are almost all healed... Just two still a little scabbed over. None of them hurt... Though man are they itchy... Which I understand is the healing process
However... My lower belly... Or my spare tire as it were... Has started to hurt. About 2 inches below and to the left of my bellybutton there is a patch of skin that's sore to the touch hurts while at the same time has a numbness to it. Is this also just part of the healing process.... Or should I be concerned?!
I felt it also........I believe that's normal

This sounds like pain that I felt also. My lowest incision was 1/2 inch below my belly button and about 3-4 inches left of that it felt like I had a hernia. That pain has since subsided, and I no longer believe that I have a hernia. It was a very specific pain too, like nothing I had felt before. I think it may have just been soreness from muscles being engaged that weren't previously used b/c of my incisions. shrugs ??? Just a theory of mine.
