Just have a try on session! also look online on the kohls app before you go- if you find something online that is not in the store- you can walk into the store, buy from your app, and get free shipping to you- you just need to connect to their wifi...

I love Tiny Homes! Do you or hubby build them, live in one?

We plan to build in the next year or so. DH is graduating this year as an interior designer so he can design the homes in autocad etc. Like they show on HGTV. He has already done the plans for our house which will be storage containers.

DH wants to start a tiny home company after he graduates.

If you are interested in a tankini from Kohl's, the tops run a size too small.  You may be more comfortable in the next size up.

awesome! i bet that is exciting, i want to shop (i think) at express and the mail service called Five Four

Some of my NSV has been a lot of people telling me i look like ive lost a lot of weight. I love it and the attention lol

While my scale is not cooperating, my jeans I'm now on the 4th belt loop and my 40s I just bought are baggy.

Wife told me I was swimming in my undershirts recently

I admit... I like the attention too

Funny thing is... hardly anyone at works says a word... I'm wearing a new dress today (and I rarely wear dresses up here), and only my boss has said something! Hmph. All these women Have to notice, yet, they don't say a word...

Hope your scale starts to move again soon!

Congratulations!

I just started trying on XLs (had some in the back of my closet) and they're starting to fit. I can't believe how quick this is all happening... and am realizing the scale doesn't at all represent how quickly my measurements change. Soon enough I'll be shopping at consignment stores too.

Do you have Marshall's/TXMaxx out your way? I know they sell Lucky Brand at very good prices.

Some NSVs since my surgery 8 weeks ago:

  • Received my first really enthusiastic compliment from a coworker... "you look SO great! You must feel great too!". It absolutely made my day.
  • I wasn't too stable going down stairs and my knees would hurt. I'm now able to navigate without worry and with no pain
  • I can walk farther without foot and lower back pain

I'm just now getting past the "buyers remorse" period into the enthusiastic, happy period. I think when I get completely out of plus size (which I think for me will be a L vs. XL) I'll be very excited since I haven't been at this size since my early 30's (I'm 52).

Hey, I'm 51... I totally get it ;)

I had lost about 50 pounds, got down to 180, about 8 years ago. I do still have quite a bit of those clothes, and others that are larger in my closet too. I've found a few XL out of the stack, but I guess for some reason it felt different being from the Lucky Brand store! LOL I have really huge boobs though that really set me a little behind on the sizing... even at 180 they were still huge (heck, in my twenties, I weighed 135 and wore a D cup!)

I can go down the stairs at work so much easier too! Amazing what 52 lbs does to a woman ;)

FYI, for every pound you lose it is 4lbs of pressure you take off of your knees.
