Or just skip their crappy posts - but they may need what you have to offer. And I think you have alot to offer them.
I think that you will laugh when this reply and think - "boy, this Sharon0055 thinks a lot of her comments" and I will say "Yes, occupational hazard." And you will understand.
How's the marathon training going? I just had round 2 of plastics and 10days later I walked/strolled for .7 miles and my legs swelled up, (I did TOO much???) so I will be starting at from zero again in about 1-2 months.

Dont worry Sharon, I think a lot of my comments too! :)
The marathon training is going sideways to backwards. I did my 19 miles but had to bail out from the group at the mile 11 aid station and get a ride to my car. My stupid IT band. Then I got good and mad, drove to a trail that I knew and had multiple "safe places" on it should something more go on and dropped my intervals to 15 seconds running and one minute 30 seconds walking. It is all I could do without my knee freaking out. It took me 5 hours to do the 19 miles. I am not happy.
:(
But if I look on the bright side I did 38,966 steps before noon. Walked/ran 21.19 miles BY noon. And burned 3,153 calories. So while it wasnt the best that I could have hoped for, it was SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER Than doing nothing at all.
I also learned that I could eat 12 big grains of himlayn salt, eat 1/2 cup rice/chicken/basil/onion, drink 4 liters of water, 1 liter of electrolytes, eat 3 nutter butters, one big handful of salty pretzels, 3vanilla wafers, one hand ful pretzels, 2 freeze sticks, one snack sized bag of dill pickel potato chips and 20 oz of baby food, NOT pee and STILL weight 0.8 pounds less than when I started my run! That is how much I sweated. I am sure I am super duper dehydrated despite the 5 liters of water/sports drink.
Now, when I get hungry, I shall have an heirloom tomato salad with buffalo mozellera [sic] for linner [i.e. lunch/dinner].

I think you've got the right train of thought. Before surgery, would you have EVER thought you could run 19 miles at all??

Thank you for this. I was sort of murfing (mental crying/mentally miffed) about not being able to stay with the group and fini**** all at once.
You know, our wounded warriors have all sorts of gauntlets, and "bridges to beat" and sometimes they physically/emotionally/mentally cant. It gave me insight about WANTING to do it but not being physically able to.
So, even if I get kicked off the course at mile 17 for being too slow, I am still going to try.
Any bit is better than not doing any at all.

My mantra is "it's better to go slow than to not go at all."
You've got this! :)

I wont block people, either. I wont agree with someone, and as many know I have no issue with contesting or replying.
Enough people block me, so it works itself out ;P

I would never block you. My friends that know and love me for decades don't always agree with me - why would a bunch of people who have only one BIG thing in common.
