blocking
I would not block anyone either, unless they were talking bad about my Momma! Seriously, I have lived long enough to know when and how to pick my battles and I can see no reason to have any battles on here. I have asked for a little input on here and in the end, I knew I needed a kick in the A$$ and I got one. I am the type that needs tough love and to be told to get my head out of my A%% and get back on program. I would stick with it and not take things to heart. It is all about interpretation.
It's a big step to block someone - it means that they cannot read your posts and glean wisdom from them and you cannot communitcate with them. In all my time on OH, one person has blocked me. I have not blocked ANYONE, including the person who blocked me, because blocking ultimately weakens our community.
I dont know what has upset you so I cannot say not to block.
I might suggest sending a private email to one of the posters who cautions against blocking and getting a second opinion on how to handle the situation.

I've blocked a few-for my own sanity-if nothing else.

As is your right and why OH provides that feature.
Speaking philosophically, those that annoy the most often have an important message that we do not want to or are not ready to hear yet.

You're assuming I've blocked people who have a good message for me that I'm not ready to hear.
Edited for typo. As usual...ha.

Ditto. Most of my block list is comprised of drama queens, ****stirrers, and/or spouters of pseudoscience :)
