You can also hover over someone's icon when looking at something they've posted. "Block" will be the second option, click on it and confirm.

Just a friendly warning.  You may be blocking someone who is a wealth of information.  You don't have to agree with them, but you should keep an open mind.  Your attitudes will change the further out you get from surgery.  I refuse to block ANYONE.  I think that there is always the possibility of learning from someone, even if I don't always agree with them.  I have a thick skin and just walk away from any post that bothers me.  People on the internet have no control of my life.  I can take it or leave it.

Some of the people that rubbed me the wrong way in the beginning became some of my best advisers.  None of them were being malicious. Block at your own risk.  Surrounding yourself with people who only agree with you is not the way to grow and learn.

Just remember that telling others how and what to post may cause others to block you in the future :)

This is pretty 'neener-neener'. It's pretty clear who you are irritated with. Block if you must and call it a day.

I block people who annoy - irritate me... once in awhile I review my list...and unblock some.. and keep others blocked .  I rather block them than say mean things...
