Aug. 2nd date for VSG.....
Hi Dean. Very similar to my path to get here, thru my sleeve op on 7/11/16. Totally successful so far. The only comment I can make is that your protein levels are very high and my Dr. would lower that considerably to certainly under 100g per day and maybe even 70. Higher puts organs like liver at risk.
But other than that, I would like to hear about the complimentary exercise/moving program which will be important for you. It's a LOT more important than weight loss in pounds....I, like you, have studied for a year since embarking on this track. And I will be happy, if we speak (so much easier than blogging such a etailed understanding) if you would like. Send me a private message with phone if interested.

Thanks for your comments Rich. All the support I can get is appreciated. My Nut told me several months ago to start out at 60-80g protein and then up it to 120+. I have been following her advice on this.
Exercise is quite another thing! I can't count the number of times I have heard people tell me "start off small, just a few steps", or " just once around the block". At 438 lbs. it was like , once around the block? I'd just like to make it to the bathroom and back w/o having to take a rest! The only way I'm making it around the block is in a cab! I injure myself sleeping for crying out loud! Now that I am down to 365 I can walk again, and exercise is becoming more on my mind. I played ********* with my kids and grandies last weekend. it was a blast. First time I've done anything remotely close to exercise. It was great fun. I'm not quite ready for the olympics yet, but I am getting closer to starting a reg. routine. I'm now waiting until after surgery to see what activities I'll be able to handle before I embark on something way over my head. And I have to enjoy it too. Walking isn't exactly my idea of "fun". Thanks again Rich...gimmie a call. I sent a message w/my #.
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery from an old broom
