More info requested... turnaround time.

Hey guys. Has anyone experienced their insurance company needed additional information like clinicals or anything? If so once they received the information how long did it take for you to receive a decision??

I was told my insurance companies is one of the quickest to respond.  After 3 weeks and no answer, I called them and they said "Oh yes, we turned that into your doctor's office 2 weeks ago.  So it was my doctor's office that was slow to respond, NOT the insurance company.

Same story with me. My insurance approved within a week of receiving the submitted packet, but I've had to keep on top of my surgeon's office. Sometimes you have to be sure you've not fallen in a crack, sadly. Good luck. 

thank you so much for the reply. I am waiting on pins and needles. Hoping for an August date.. well approval first then an August date. My bday is next month so this would be a great gift. A new birthdate to the beginning of a new me. Think I have to call the insurance company like everyday. ;-)

It took about a week to get my approval also.  Good luck!
