A bit off topic: Relationships, romantic

I edited my post to make it a little more appropriate, it did come off pretty crappy of me to insinuate that the "Hags" are ALWAYS negative towards people, that is not true or fair of me to say. I apologize, I updated it.

I just skimmed thru her other posts to see, and saw your responses. Realized you were being sarcastic a few responses up above about being a ***** ;)

I honestly dont have an issue with "Hags" unless they start ganging up on someone (doesnt have to be me). Just because we dont agree with someone, or what they write may make them sound like a ****ty person (in this case, peoples interpretation of the OPs post), doesnt mean we have to gang up on them as a whole. 

Maybe her post was poorly written as far as conveying how she felt. Then again, maybe she really did mean to sound like a ***** online and turn the entire forum against her. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, because even if people are strangers, its never fun to upset a group of them (trust me, I know ;P)

I've been here for donkeys years (12, give or take) and have been at the bottom of more than one or two pile ons.  I believe one of those on the Sex Board actually ran to over 1000 comments!  Where are all those people now?  Gone!  

I will jump in if I believe someone is being treated unfairly, but I won't stand by and let people post stupid **** because I feel sorry for them.  We all deserve honesty and putting yourself out there invites it.  You post something, you get the good, the bad and the ugly.   I rarely put myself out there.  Posting that pic of my bf and I is a huge deal because I doubt I've posted more than 2 or 3 pictures in the public forums in 12 years.

I don't think the OP posted anything wrong, maybe her delivery could have been better, but it's a controversial subject on a group of formerly fat people for sure.

I truly believe her write up was flawed, but not her intentions. I could be wrong, for sure. 

People disagree. That's life. It shouldn't be a big deal. You disagree, you make your point, respond, and move on. Every community is like that. If someone's feelings get hurt that badly, they need a completely different kind of help.

Being passive aggressive and always claiming to hate discord, while creating more discord, adds nothing to the community. It's just narcissism. 

Having said all that, Kim, you were still wrong.

PS. I also dislike people who have to have the last word.

And the great cart debate never dies  

I worked in a grocery store in my teens.  I always return the cart to the corral.  Plus I look at it as increased activity.  I'm not doing it for the store, but to feed my OCD tendencies... heh.

The last generation of OHers got hauled away from a wedding by the cops. All we have is the Great Cart Debate of 2016.

I weep for the next generation.

At least it's not Flintstones.
