Lung disease prior to WLS.

Was anyone been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension or any other lung disease prior to WLS? Did you have trouble getting approved, as you started losing weight did your breathing become better? Did you start using less supplemental oxygen or a lower liter flow? Any information would be great, looking forward to the replies.
