Please tell me I'm not the only one...

...who's playing Pokemon Go to get my steps in?

(Short version: it's a GPS-based game where you wander around the real world with your phone to find Pokemon, which are scattered all over the place. Neighborhood, parks, malls, you name it! You're quite literally walking all over the place, watching the map, and seeing if you can catch nearby critters.)

I haven't gotten out much since it's still hot here, but MAN is it a good excuse to get out and get my butt moving!!

This game is kind of crazy there are so many kids or young adults playing in town when I was walking this morning. My son is playing it. I am kind of amused by it. 

I have a son who wants to start playing and I just heard a preview for a story this morning on the news about bad guys using the app for criminal activity, be careful and keep an eye on the kiddos.  I'm going to look for the story on line when I get home.

I've seen warnings as well. I'd treat it like swimming and always take a buddy.

And never after dark!

My two teenage kids are playing it... 16 & 14. I was driving them from Oklahoma City to Tulsa (about 2 hour drive) and they kept begging me to pull over! ha!

I think it's pretty cool. The kids are getting out and exploring all around, and it keeps them entertained. I'm sure they found a lot of Pokemon driving from Tulsa to Atlanta!

Maybe I'll download it and see if I get into it. I live in the country on a dirt road... I hate walking around my 'neighborhood', it's nothing but wheat fields, homes, cows, and horses...

I forgot to add the wind... so.much.wind. (aka Oklahoma wind is ridiculous)

I prefer to walk with more things and people to look at. But of course, I'm a huge extrovert, so that probably explains it! LOL

I guess to I don't get to see things like that where I live. As soon as I read your post I thought about the musical Oklahoma. The wind sweeping down the plain.
