New Week - my weekly minigoals
Its a new week, ya'll!
I mean, I guess it depends on the type of calendar you prefer if it starts on Sunday or Monday.. either way :P
For me, I'm trying to have more pep in my step. I'm so thankful for so many things in life, including my new tool (even though I **** it off pretty often, still love the little guy).
My goals for the week:
- Hit the gym 5 times for some weight lifting
- I hurt my back REALLY bad, thought I was going to have to go see a specialist. Ended up having it prayed over at Church and within a few hours the pain was GONE. Has been really messed up since Friday, so heck ya!
- Do 4 days of running
- Doing the Couch to 5k program. I did the first day and then for about 5 days the shin muscles were SO sore. Havent ran in so long so had plenty of lactic acid built up. Its all gone, so back to the grind!
- Keep on keepin on with my eating/liquids
- My little stall is trying to break.. Going to try to stay focus on it and get thru it. I have been around 263 for a little over a week now. I ended up at 265 Sunday :( My wife made these protein bar things... Protein powder, stevia, other things I dont remember. I ate 3 pieces, so I guess that was it? This morning was down to 262 so heres to hoping!
- Try not to eat too fast or much.
- You would think after doing this several times I would learn. I still take too big of bites. I still dont wait long enough between bites to take another... I havent gotten sick in about a week, but I did this morning.
Thats it for now. Baby steps, right? This will be 7 weeks post op for me on Thursday.
OH, I did buy a pair of jeans yesterday :) Ive been wearing the same ones from 50 pounds ago and they were so baggy... I went to goodwill and couldnt find anything that fit me to my liking. Grabbed a pair of straight legged Wranglers from Walmart in the next waist size down and feel like a new man :)

Chris, you look great, such a difference already.
Mini goals this week: to weigh about 138 every time I weigh in, so I have to mind my bites and snacks.
To get at least 70 grams of protein without having to drink a shake to do it.
To be good, and not buy any new clothes, even if they are calling my name.
5' 5" tall. VSG on August 4, 2015/ Starting weight 239.9/ Surgery weight 210.9/ Current weight 137.4/ Goal weight 140/ No longer overweight, now a NORMAL weight. Now that I'm at goal, it's time to move on to maintenance!!!!!!!!
My mini goal is to see the scale move down and not go back up. IDK whats wrong with me. 3 weeks tomorrow and nothing. Well I did lose 4 lbs from my surgery weight to the day I got home. But nothing after. :(
I understand about the bigger bites and not waiting enough time in between foods. My pouch gets mad at me too sometimes. I've learned to slow down a bit though ;)

No way. It was just the initial lactic acid release. One I let them recover I havent had any issues since :)
