Average weight loss

I seem to think there is a link somewhere here that has a list of average loss. Perhaps someone can tell you how to find it.
That said there are so many variables it is never wise to compare yourself to others. We all lose weight differently. You did not say what your starting weight was, what type of surgery you had, when your surgery was, your age or activity level, or what you are eating both protein content and calorie wsie. All these things can affect your rate of weight loss along with metabolic differences. Some lose weight easily, as they did before surgery (though it always came back) others have to work hard to lose even with their tool.
Listen to your Dr and Nut, follow the program they have given you. I feel your frustration but you will lose, just give it time. Hang in there.
If you look at the menu above...go to Resources and post-op planner and there is a calculator. I will say we don't follow a formula, in the end I got to my goal close to what the calculator said + 2 months.... but the journey didn't look like predicted. Some months I lost more and some less... for no apparent reason.
You don't have any information as to when or what type of surgery you had. If you go and add that is your settings, it would show up every time you post and help people to answer your questions better.
I had an over 50 BMI so in theory I should have lost weight like gangbusters out of the gate. I lost 11lbs my first week and then went into a 3 1/2 week stall....

At least you ARE losing. My weight has stayed right at 260 since the day I got home from the hospital. (June 22)

I know this question was not for me, but I lost 170 in 14 months. I lost 30 pre-RNY. The average seems to be 50% of our excess weight lost by the six month mark.

Just keep plugging away at your plan. I was slow - but also, steady. I only had one stall the first year other than the infamous three-week one. I was below average the first few months but have since caught up with the crowd. I think I was slow out of the gate because I'm in my 50s and I also lost quite a bit of weight pre-op
