Weight Loss And Gain With Cancer

  You're going through an incredibly tough time.  I admire your courage and willingness to accept that temporary weight gain from IV fluids isn't the end of the world.  

Sending you lots of positive energy during this time (I'm a cancer survivor as well) 

They worry about chemo and rapid weight loss being too hard on your liver. What a horrible tightrope to walk. I'm glad you can tolerate the Premier shakes.

Chemo and all the fluids it requires can really puff you up.

Thanks so much for the update.  I've been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing.  Chemo is a SOB, and you are getting through it with grace.  Hang in there, and keep us posted on how you are doing.  

I'm doing the Happy Dance.  Yesterday was my final chemo treatment and today was my last Neulasta shot.  In 3.5 wks I will have a Herceptin infusion then the week after that will be my double mastectomy.

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear about your cancer. It must be extremely  tough dealing with both issues at the same time. You should be so very proud of yourself for being so strong, and for being able to lose weight despite all that you're going throug!. Keep the faith and stay strong! I'm in awe of your strength!!!!

I'm so sorry buddy. I'm really proud of the level of dignity you always have displayed throughout. I hope this makes your journey less tiresome. Prayers to you.

The choices U make here mean whether U live or die ...you must be wise . I too suffered from breast cancer in my twenties ...I survived  way too many yrs....
