So just because you have kids it's okay to mess up other people's property?  I NEVER said your kids weren't important and putting them in their car seat while you walk to the cart a few feet to the cart coral will very, very, very doubtfully put your children in danger.  Just because you're a "mommy" doesn't mean you have be a drama queen.  Gheez oh Pete don't be so sensitive.  Yes, I believe children come first, that's NOT AT ALL what I was saying.  But respect other people and their property and hopefully teach your children the same.

It's dangerous to leave a kid unattended in a hot car, even if the door is open.

Well when my kids were first born I couldn't wait to buy them their first can of spray paint. Actually my daughter is sitting right here with me and told me not to write it. I guess I do have good kids. I was being funny by my first comment. 

Trust me I am not a drama queen. I am actually a pretty good person. Who comes here to get help when I need it. I also will help others if they are going through a tough time. Life is not always easy after WLS. I mean I have had some major things have happened in my life that I have come to terms with. I am learning that life can be short and may not always go my way. 

I have two pretty awesome kids who are 23 and 20. They do care about people. They also respect people. I also have three dogs who I care about and if I had them in my car I wouldn't put the cart back either.

Whose being a drama queen because I am a " mommy" ???  let me just tell you something ... I was on bed  rest laying 24:7 on my left side for 20 weeks to give them the best chance they could have , not to mention going through what I went through to get them safely to 2.5 years old and will not leave them in a hot car or turn my back on them even for a second to walk a few steps to a cart return while some crazy person snatches up my kids ( obviously you don'****ch the news) to ensure that there are no cars dinged. I never said anything about not taking care of someone's property and I try to secure my cart  . I could totally get down right drama queen on this subject but simply was replying to your idiotic response that your sure my kids would be safe while I returned a shopping cart because you take care of your car . Hopefully you teach your children that they matter more than your " stuff" .

Leaving a kid in a car seat even to go a few feet to return a cart really is a bad idea. On the same note if someone takes a cart & doesn't secure it, i.e return it back to the coral & it rolls away & damages someone else's car, the customer is responsible, not the store.

However I think most people live with the dings or try to repair it themselves with that suction cup thingy.
