Wednesday ANTI-*****fest

I was reading this really insulting article about what men think when they are dating a plus size woman (I know ...why was I reading this...a glutton for punishment I guess).  The article was as bad as you can imagine.  I then started reading some of it to my husband and the article had pictures of women (that I thought were fairly attractive women) and that's when my husband said...are they saying these women are plus size.  They look perfectly fine to me.  And you are not plus size either, you are gorgeous. so stop reading this garbage and even if you were plus size, women can beautiful at any size.   

It made me think...I am lucky.  Even if I gain my weight back he won't think I am ugly or unworthy.  It made me love him more.    

My daughter got engaged two weeks ago.  Her fiance' asked our permission to marry her on the Friday before Mother's Day and I had to keep my mouth shut for over a month (not an easy task****il he paid off the ring and they finished making it (he had it designed for her).  Now it's official and we are in full planning mode.  She wants a Friday the 13th wedding (if you knew her, you would understand) and she's marrying JASON!!!! (YIKES!)  The wedding will be "luck themed" on October 13, 2017 at Devil's Head Resort ( perfect...right?).   I am making her dress and the bridesmaids dresses.  Many pictures to follow .  First picture... the perfect ring!

That ring is beautiful, and I simply love your daughter's sense of humor! Sounds like a fun party is in the works!

I'm halfway done with my closet/bedroom redo. ( Nothing big, just reorganizing and decluttering, but it's way overdue. ) It's kept me from boredom-eating, which was my plan. 

I've lost 40 pounds now since I started my pre op diet... and people are starting to notice!

It feels good to have people notice.

Last night I went to a friend's house to borrow a ****tail dress for an upcoming wedding this weekend. I didn't want to go and buy one, and I just didn't have one.

I felt like a princess trying on dresses. While none of them are small sizes, so many of them really accentuated my weight loss, and I felt really good in most all of them! Cant' wait to get all dressed up on Saturday for the big day!
