crystal light vs water
As Jen said, you could guzzle Crystal Light all day long, and that alone wouldn't make you gain weight. Try weighing and logging your food really closely to see where the extra calories are coming from.
An extra 100 calories a day will add up to 10 pounds of weight gain in a year. And 100 calories a day is a really tiny amount of food.

On a side note... I could not stand the taste of water right out of surgery either, (tasted metally and gross) but figured out that if it was ice ice cold, it tasted better... So now, I carry a Bubba bottle with me full of ice and just add water to it constantly. It will keep ice in it for over 24 hours! So my water is ALWAYS cold... Have you tried that to increase just your plain water consumption. But I do also agree with everyone else that your crystal light is probably not your culprit in this case... Could be something easy... even if something you always ate but they changed the nutritional values up... it can add up quick!
