Very well said.

My last 5 lbs of regain took me 6 months to lose... But in that 6 months I developed eating style that is helping me maintain my weight .... So far so good.

One thing I have learned is that I only fail when I stop trying.

I failed my first surgery and I learned so much from the whole experience and now I know the warning signs to watch out for.

I am not perfect and I am learning all the time.  I have never been a normal size for this long so I have no experience to draw on but I have a wealth of resources here on OH from people who have.

I make a lot of "mistakes" but I never let them cause me to give up.  I just resolve to do better next time.  My goal is to just do the best I can and move on.  I have learned that sometimes that doing a little is better than doing nothing.
