Just keep swimming!  You'll be able to gulp water again, but not until the swelling goes down from surgery.  Cold water felt really weird going down for me for a long time.  I'm almost three years out and can drink aggressively.  :D

Its weird because I've heard people say they couldn't tolerate cold. But they gave me ice chips before water, then gave me ice water. So I just drank it. Then I wouldnt be able to fini**** all so it would get room temp and that for some reason would make me even thirstier. Ive always liked ice cold drink maybe thats it lol

You know what I have found? When I eat popsicles (the stick kind), I dont just bite in. I have to kind of suck on them and soften them up before I can bite some off... When I do that, its like I bring in air from the sucking with the juice, and it almost ****** off my sleeve. I have to be careful lol

The frozen ice pop things from being a child, those arent as bad. Can bite off quicker.

Wonder how common that is
