You may well be right... but I 've read that the pesticides and other nasties are more concentrated in animal fat .. simply because animals are higher up the food chain .

My little farm is totally organic .. but that doesn't mean there aren't undesireable additives to the water ... that my crops aren't being affected by nearby"  roundup=ready"  crops and their " juice" and " powders " (  YECCH)

If you have a food coop or farmer's market near you you may find that eating organic or largely organic MIGHT be feasible financially - particularly since we eat so much less post op .

Good luck Mary! ((()))hugs

Farms can use pesticides on crops and still be considered "organic." There's a whole list of them.

Mary I know you will get to onderland. I have know doubt. You have done an amazing job. I remember before you had surgery you lost a lot of weight on your own.

You have been through a tough year.

You will get there.

Hi Mary, CONGRATS on your loss and for getting back on the "meat" track LOL

I am just totally curious, one you have a minute could you post for us (especially for the Newbies) what a typical day or two of eating looked like for you when you decided to do all meat all week (AMAW)?  I think a lot of people would benefit from knowing what exactly you ate.

For sure you will reach Onderland by the end of Summer, just continue on AMAW!

Congrats and thanks again!

Cheers,

Daisy

Thanks Julie for the links. It was not for me, I don't have any problem eating meat 99% of the time LOL

I was thinking of all the newbies *****ad our threads and they might want to know what Mary ate and if she followed your 5 day Meat plan or made up her own version of the 5 day meat plan/AMAW.  All in all it seems to be working regardless! YAY meat!

Thanks so much for doing the website & posting sample menus and helping newbies/people getting back on track/maintenance folks, really appreciate ll your hard work you are putting into this!! YOU ROCK girl!!!

Yeah, I figured as much. Hooray for the Queen of Meat! :-D

I'm honestly surprised at how well the website seems to be doing. I put it together mostly as a joke, but I'm really glad that people are finding it useful.
