Yep, Eat Meat, Lose Big Time.
Well, I posted yesterday about doing the All Meat All Week plan. Since I moved into my own place about two weeks ago, I started back on the program, but was still having problems with crabs. So last week I put on my bog girl panties and went All Meat. Today I had my monthly doctor's appointment.... and the scale showed an 18 pound loss. Yes, you read that right. 18 pounds.
And guess what. My restriction is still working two years post-op. It works when you eat dense protein; does not work when eating high crabs like bread, cereal, etc. So no need for any "revision" surgery.
So, I continue on eating my meats, along with cheese and eggs. I'm hoping to reach Onederland by the end of the Summer.
It works really well. I was on a zero carb diet at my highest weight. It's nice because I just precook my meat up and freeze it in portions of lamb, beef, and pork, etc. Then just nuke my 4 ounces for meals. :) I was zero carb for a while (just meat and eggs) and lost a lot of weight. I stay at 40g or less net now.
Congrats!!
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
