Post op liquid diet help

I really like the bouillon cubes as well but they are so high in salt it's like drinking top Ramen but I love it.  I have high blood pressure so I try to stay away from to much salt but I may just have to keep doing the bouillon cubes. I can't go back to regular broth.

WOW, I know each surgeon is different, I didn't have to do only broth and no protein right after surgery. Looks like some good suggestions here.  Call your surgeons office for some suggestions and we did a search for you to see if there are other threads with suggestions.

Hang in there, it does get better.  Try and stay busy so you won't think so much about the limited food choices. Sure, that will be easy, NOT!

Miso broth, watch out for high sodium tho, but i added more water to mine.

After day 3 I was allowed strained cream soups diluted with ff canned milk.  Very good.  About 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup at a time as long as I don't go over 1/2 cup.
