Small Wins!

About 4 months ago I decided that I needed to focus on my Heath and needed to lose weight.  I was 300 pounds. The highest I have ever been.  I wasn't sure if surgery was for me but I wasn't against it but I didn't know a lot about it.  I saw my local surgeons office at my PCP recommedation in April (they suggested this group too). The office put me in their 6 month surgery program to learn and decide.  Well part of the program was to lose 10% of my weight by September and make my decision if surgery is right for me by July.  Well today I am talking a small win, or step in the right direction because I have lost 21 pounds and with the help of all of you decided to go ahead with surgery.  Thanks for sharing your stories and experiences.  It helps people like me make a decision!
