Calcium

So today I'm supposed to start my calcium chews...

I know I'm supposed to space it out from my iron (which I currently take with my multi-vitamin and extra Vit D)...

If I took those this morning before lunch, can I now take my calcium chews? Do I take them all at once (I think it's 3 or 4, I forgot to read the package this morning, ack! LOL), or am I supposed to space those out during the day?

I'm not the greatest with all these supplements!

Thyroid meds as soon as I wake up... 2 multi chewables, a Vit D capsule, iron chewable, and now I add calcium chews...

Only good thing is they are caramel flavored... Yum!

I had to have 6 a day and I spaced them two at a time a few hours apart.

Are they 500 mg each? If so, take one spaced out every two hours during the day, and two hours after your iron.

If they're 250 mg, take two at a time spaced 2 hours apart and 2 hours after your iron.

Are they Bariatric Advantage? ( just curious )

So, are you saying the calcium my Bariatric Surgeon told me to use isn't acceptable calcium?

Many of us use the Bariatric Advantage 500mg chewable calcium after surgery.  They are fantastically delicious and exactly what you should be taking.

I checked my label - I thought it said 3 hours apart for the calcium - but it does not.

PS - Once you get it down to a system and you can do the same thing each day, it's not so difficult.  I also take synthroid in the am and I try to drink fluids.  I have the multis with BF, and the calcium after lunch and dinner.  (no iron for me)

After a week or two, you will figure out what works best for you.
