RNY v VSG ?

You should be successful with either surgery. Do you mind taking vitamins for the rest of your life? That's a requirement of RnY. 

Is alcohol an important part of your life now? 

Both surgeries are permanent. I would really research what the long term looks like and what fits best for your needs.

Have you spoken to your surgeon yet? That's always the best way to see! I think both surgeries are awesome and you can be super successful at either!

For me personally, I went with VSG because I am self pay and it is more affordable than RNY. Also, like you, I don't have any other health issues, so I felt sleeve was best for me, personally. Do lots and lots of research!

I've done quite a bit of research and feel like I understand both surgeries fairly well. I just can't decide which pro/con list I like better. I wish I could mash up both surgeries, haha. Ah well. Thanks for the advice
