I did what you did - I added my weight history to my first name line at the bottom of your posts.

To get your date, type of surgery, doctor to show up at the top of your posts, go to that GEAR symbol at the top right, then Medical History and hit the ADD Surgery Button.  I had to search around for it also.  I think that will do it - I agree sort of like a Scavenger Hunt.
