It is near end of the quarter and my boss (2 levels up from me...I need him to sign on a particular document) tells his whole group he is going on vacay in 3 hours. Have your stuff turned in.  Like I needed a WAY BIGGER heads up than that.

My direct supervisor is crazy, is a widower, his cat ran away, and he cant keep a gf. I would feel sorry for him but he has an explosive temper and kind of pushes people away. Then he wonders why he has no friends.

I ran a mile in about 10:00. I used a calculator that said I should be able to do a 5K race (just 3.2 miles) at a 10:36 pace.  I tried a "dress rehersal" for this the other day and achieved.....[wait for it]....11:08 pace! Whippee skippy I improved a MERE 7 seconds compared to last year. Why do I bother?

it is end of quarter...quotas quotas quotas.  I hate quotas...

My job doesn't have enough supplies. My supervisor NEVER orders enough stuff we need. Apparently she gets a hefty bonus at the end of the year if she stays within budget. Yesterday we were running from room to room trying to find what was needed to assist the doctors. How can I do my frigen job if I don't have the right tools or supplies. Worst part, the doctor is so passive about it when I say we don't have enough supplies. It makes it less efficient for him and makes us look like ******** getting up and down out of the room during procedures, but he does nothing about it. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. If it were up to me I'd say F it to the bonus and make sure my staff has what is needed for them to work efficiently and more productively.

I want to shake her like the picture in the post hahahaha.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh - I don't want to go to work today :(

My husband had to go out of town on short notice AGAIN this morning.  It's only for one night, but I still hate it.

Also, my 2 year old refuses to sleep in his own bed now so he's been sleeping in between my hubby and I.  Really cuts into our alone time, if you know what I mean.  I just don't have enough energy to sleep train right now.  And I'm worried about potty training, since he's absolutely not wanting to do that.  I think I'm going to put him in his underwear on Saturday and just roll with it at least one day a weekend for the summer.  he'll be 3 in November and I NEED him potty trained ASAP.  My oldest didn't train until right when he turned 3.

I wish I wasn't a working mom, it would be so much easier if I could be at home to train him full time.  My MIL watches him during the day, but she also watches my 6 month old nephew, so it's going to be difficult for her to train him this summer.  I guess we need to talk and decide when we're going to start training seriously.

I seem to remember this happening with my little brother. We tacked a spare bedsheet on the wall over his bed and made him a "fort," and all of a sudden it was so cool that he wouldn't sleep anywhere else!

At the risk of getting political, the Stanford rape case has me so full of rage that there aren't enough swear worlds in the whole universe to express my feelings.

Rape is not caused by college drinking culture, what the victim wears or how they act, general attitudes towards casual sex, any of that.

RAPE IS THE RAPIST'S FAULT. IT'S NEVER OKAY. END OF ******G STORY.

You know what was worse?  The father's response. Something like it is a hefty penalty for 20 minutes of fun?

Like what the hell?

With parents like that...no wonder why the world is in such a pathological state.

YES!! I think it's really important to teach my son to be kind and respectful, it makes me sad to think that other kids may not get that lesson. :(
