Needing a Revision

Hi everyone! I had RNY back in 2005. I have since had a baby and gained most of my weight back. It has been hard trying to maintain a decent weight. I am in desperate need of a Revision as I am beginning to have trouble with my muscles and joints. I have Medicaid because my employer doesn't offer benefits. My dilemma is I have run out of options here in Louisiana as far a surgeon that will take Medicaid a lot of them take it as a secondary. I have even tried to purchase a plan but I have been unsuccessful doing that. Does anyone on here know of any Surgeons in Louisiana that will take it or have any other suggestions I can try?

Please and Thank You!!

hi

Have you tried to cut WAY back on carb heavy foods and eat dense protein FIRST when you have your meals. This helps with hunger and also helps me feel full longer.

** beef/pork/fish are some dense protein foods

there are vets on this board *****ference a 5 day Meat diet to help reset your pouch

I don't have the link / hope someone will see this and add it

You may not need a medical/surgical revision ( I am not a medical professional / just someone who is working on my own journey to keep lean. )

take care
