Sounds delicious! Is the Montreal Steak seasoning in liquid form? I have only seen the spice version in local stores. Dehydrator is on my list! Thanks for sharing!

I use the little jar of powdered spices, I get it at Safeway. There are regular and spicy versions, they both work well.

Thank you. I was thinking was liquid form. I love jerky and would have to believe the homemade version is so much better than store bought!

Not to mention WAY cheaper, too! The stuff at the grocery store works out to about $20/lb, but I buy meat when it's on sale for $2.99/lb and make several big batches.

This sounds really good. I remember my dad making jerky back in the day using flank steak. It used to be a cheap cut of meat, but it's found new life as skirt steak.
I still haven't brought my Instant Pot out of the box. I'm terrified that I'm going to blow up my house. I ordered a cookbook for guidance. Oy.
