Does anyone know how to bypass that warning that I'm not eating enough when I try to complete my entry? I'm on my liquid diet and the max calories I can have is 900... But it fusses at me if I dont eat 1000... Which I can't do. It wont let me complete the entry!

You have to do it on a computer.

Ok I'll try that, but I already adjusted the daily calories to 900 in my phone. Maybe something different about the computer way so I'll try :)

Here's what I do: ignore it.

Doesn't matter.

I was hoping you didn't think I was being snarky -- because I wasn't.  That's what I really do!  LOL.  I'd NEVER EVER lose eating at 1200 calories.  Trust me, with over 880 days logged meticulously -- I know that my maintenance is 1000 to 1200!    I think they have to put that "warning" to avoid liability with anorexics, etc.

I usually just don't "complete the entry".

I never complete mine, either.

I've been fighting with their customer service and managers about this issue.  This short story is they do not want to promote an unhealthy lifestyle.  Apparently there are people with eating disorders out there who try and one up each other with the lowest calories they can live on.  I've tried to be understanding but I'm going to be honest and say I am not.  I feel bad for people who are doing that to themselves, however this app is just an app.  They will do that regardless of the app, the app does not promote this activity.  If the app was not there they'd use FB or something else.  We on the other hand are on a life saving post WLS plan which requires far fewer calories than the norm.  While they have conceded that our medically directed diet is a healthy one for us they still refuse to take the "error" code off.

I will say the only way this will change is if everyone works together and writes them and tells them how disappointing it is to not be able to complete your diary as a normal person would WITHOUT a message which is fairly rude telling us we're not doing it right.  That sharing with our friends and support system is important and something that you want to be able to use.
