83 pounds down!!
I'm so excited and just don't have anyone to really tell (not comfortable announcing to people I know yet) but I am 83 pounds down! I wish I would've had this surgery so much sooner. I bounced around with the idea for years but had such fear. It deffinately wasn't a walk in the park at first but I'm just so happy to see my hard work pay off. I know the weightloss slows down but for now I'm just enjoying seeing the number go down! Last week I finally got to go on roller coasters again too! This has been such a fun journey for me, can't wait to see what else it brings???????????? Sw 354 Cw 271 Gw 160 surgery was March 15th, 2016.
Congratulations! I feel the same. I want to shout it to everyone but don't. People are so critical when they hear WLS as your choice for weight loss instead of being happy you too control over something so pressing. I've already had my fair share of negative comments from it. But, when I hear comments from my co-workers like "you're looking so skinny" like I did yesterday, it makes this surgery choice feel even more wonderful. Like you, I wish I did this years ago.
