Another thing that works well are mason jars with lid IF you are only using them in a cooler or insulated lunch sack with a gel ice block

And they are great if you travel.  I go to grocery store and buy cheap jar of pickles or something... At the hotel - get rid of the stuff inside - wash the jar and have a perfect container for mixing protein drinks... Or other drinks.. Hot-warm or cold with ice...   I don't carry protein shaker anymore, or a special coffee mug...

If the day is hot - pack jar with ice, fill with water... Wrap in a towel.. It will be cold or cool til afternoon.

I have been considering some sort of container to keep my ice water "ice cold" during this summer.  I have heard of the Yeti and the Hydro flask.  I am considering getting the Hydro flask.  I still need to decide what size I need.  I am thinking the 40oz, and then drink it twice each day.

Rei is an outdoor coop store. Camping hiking climbing cycling etc type stuff. They offer a lifetime warranty on anything you buy on top of manufacture warranty.

Ghey sell them online, I imagine that still applies. Dunno maybe there's a local one by you

REI has a website too, I buy stuff from them sometimes, good quality items., Backcountry is another good site for outdoor stuff.
