Another option is to get a bottle you can freeze. I use Nalgene bottles, which are pretty much indestructable (and way cheaper than a hydro flask), fill them 3/4 full, and freeze them overnight.

I use the Swell bottle.  It keeps my hot liquid hot and cold liquid cold for up to 12 hours.  Leak proof screw top.  It's not cheap (about $25-$40). It has been the best bottle I have ever used (and I'v used a ton of them).

A colleague really loves her hydroflask.

They are pricey though...

I saw someone mention it on here...maybe Peachpie?  I looked into them after she mentioned it and they seem to be what I'm looking for.  Now to come up with an extra $40 for it...lol

I'm not going to read through all of the comments.  Post away Chris as you wish.  When I was real new and excited about something and wanted to share . . .those who had been at it, the OH vets behind a computer screen, jumped on me with negative stuff.  OUCH!!!  I had a brief "wth" moment and then chose to ignore the inconsideration.  no one takes someone's joy or excitement away, including their pleasant presentation of sharing unless that someone allows it.  So as the penguins say "just smile and wave boys . . smile and wave"

Is the 11 oz tumbler handle free?

If so, I think this may be THE PERFECT way to keep my protein & electrolyte drink cold during running & training for this marathon.  The makers of the drink (for 3+ hours of continuous exercise) write that it is preservative free and will SPOIL if left warm for several hours [which kind of makes it a useless sports drink].

Some people have recommended freezing them and letting them SLOWLY thaw over hours and hours...put it is going to be 90 HERE!!!

Yes its handle free :\ Just went and checked the offerings.

At least, the RTIC offerings do not include a handle. Didnt see a side brand on amazon, either

Freakin love mine. I use my big 30oz daily :) I put only a little ice in the morning, fill with water, add some Mio Fit at work and its still cool by the time I finish around 2pm
