I'm Doing It!
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum. I just joined last month. Just want everyone to know that I will be calling my physician this week to discuss getting WLS. I am 62, 5'7 and 340 lbs. I have a truly wonderful life (family and friends). But this weight issue must cease. I will say that after joining the group I have been so encouraged to move forward in this decision. I was either in fear or denial in the past but that is no longer the case. Thanks to all of you for you real and honest reports of your journey. I will keep you posted.
Lady K.
Hi Lady -
Welcome and congratulations for taking control of your health. I Started the process at the beginning of the year, and this community has been so helpful in giving me the good, bad and ugly.
I too too was in denial for years, as I don't have any health problems. But I realized I needed help and didn't want to go through another year of living what I call a half life.
Best at to you on your journey!
Lisa
